Petaluma Army veteran arrested for allegedly threatening multiple military personnel

(KRON) – A Petaluma resident has been charged with a felony offense for allegedly posting online videos of himself threatening to kill multiple military personnel at the Fort Irwin army base in San Bernardino County, the Justice Department announced on Thursday. Christian Ernest Beyer, 41, was charged with making interstate threats. DENVER (AP) — Dallas Mavericks coach Jason Kidd will miss Friday night’s game at Denver with a non-COVID-19 illness.Kidd didn’t make the trip and will be replaced by top assistant Sean Sweeney. It’s the second time Sweeney has filled in. He went 3-1 when Kidd was in the health and safety protocols during the 2021-2022 season, Kidd’s first with the Mavericks.Dallas goes into its first meeting with the defending NBA champion Nuggets as the only undefeated team in the Western Conference. (KDVR) -- Deputies chased a vehicle potentially involved in a kidnapping in Weld County which led to a deputy firing their weapon early Friday morning.On Thursday night, Fort Collins Police Services received information on a vehicle involved with a possible kidnapping in Weld County. Police arrest student who allegedly brought gun to Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale

Police arrested a student who is accused of bringing a gun to a South Florida high school. Fort Lauderdale Police arrived at the scene at Dillard High School, located at 2501 NW 11th St, Friday morning. Accoding to police, they first arrived at the school when they received reports of two juveniles who trespassed. The school was placed on lockdown as officers searched the school. The subjects were found and were detained. Later that morning, at around 11:20 a.m., police were notified that a student potentially had a gun. With the school still on lockdown, officers found the student, but they were not in possession of a gun. After searching the school, officers found a firearm.The student, 17 years old, was arrested and will be charged. Their identity or the charges they face have not been disclosed. (CNN) — A higher court on Thursday denied Ivanka Trump’s request to postpone her upcoming testimony in her father’s civil fraud trial, shortly after she claimed she’d suffer “undue hardship” if forced to appear during a school week.“Ms. Trump, who resides in Florida with her three minor children, will suffer undue hardship if a stay is denied and she is required to testify at trial in New York in the middle of a school week, in a case she has already been dismissed from, before her appeal is heard,” her attorney argued in part in an appeal filed Thursday.With the appeal, Trump sought to block New York Judge Arthur Engoron’s previous order for her to testify until an appeal could be heard by the New York appellate court. Armed home invasion in Dracut leaves resident with severe laceration, another victim with minor injuries

Police are searching for a pair of suspects who broke into a home and assaulted two residents in Dracut on Thursday night.The Dracut Police Department said its officers were called to Arkansas Drive around 8 p.m. on Nov. 2, where authorities learned two men had forced their way into a home.According to police, the two armed suspects restrained a resident and later pistol-whipped another person who returned to the address during the home invasion.Authorities said the second resident suffered a severe laceration to the head as a result, but was expected to recover. The other resident was said to have suffered “less severe injuries” and was treated at the scene.Police described the suspects as males who were wearing masks and dark clothing, who ran down Arkansas Drive toward Bouchard Avenue after the incident.As an investigation continues, police ask that anyone with information call Dracut PD at 978-957-2123.

A dog is expected to recover after it survived a semi-truck slamming into the vehicle it was in on Friday in Cohasset.The Cohasset Police Department said the crash happened just before 10:30 a.m. on Route 3A/King Street when a Mack dump truck appeared to rear-end a Toyota 4Runner that had stopped in the northbound lane, waiting with a 2021 Land Rover for another vehicle to turn.According to the police department, the semi-truck driver hit the 4Runner at a high rate of speed, crushing the SUV’s cargo area while pushing the vehicle into the Land Rover.While the humans involved in the crash appeared to suffer minor injuries, police said a German Shepherd inside a travel crate in the 4Runner was cut and bruised as a result.Authorities said firefighters and paramedics were able to free the dog from the wreckage, including the steel cage it was in, which was left with a large dent impacting its side.Cohasset PD said the dog was expected to fully recover and that the truck driver, a...
